Hi SRK,
So, finally the release date of Om Shanti Om is coming near and frankly speaking, the tension is building. Yeah... all types of thoughts moving through mind. How great the film would be? Or will it really be great or just another PBDHH (I wish not). What would be the response of audiences and whether I'll really like it when I'll see it on 9th November (Yeah First day first show in a Multiplex. Ya if the deal doesn't go through, I'll see it even in a single screen theater).
I've been feeling the same tension from past many many years. Every time, one of your movie is up for release, I become tensed. I still remember how many times I prayed to god before reading the reviews of CDI or before even watching that film. Well, it sounds rather unusual, but frankly, I consider all of your films to be my Home Production(weird I know because I dont even have any far relative in the film industry).
But that's the truth. I always want the music and the film to do better than the best and always take care that I contribute to the success. I buy original music of your films even though I have the songs in my iPod(songs downloaded from net). I make sure that for every film of "ours", I BUY at least one ticket, doesn't matter if I see the film or not(this happened for Kuch Kuch Hota Hai. I was in school and exams were coming. So I couldn't see that movie in theater but I bought the ticket :-D). I'd say that even Hey Baby got benefited because of your presence in it.
To say the truth, I dont know why such a fervent Idolatrous behavior. Like with many SRK fans, it isn't the case with me that I dont like other actors' acting. I like Hrithik's, Amir's acting. But when it comes to the favorite actor, No one has ever replaced you and No one can do that also. My feelings for you in the acting department are exactly the same as my feelings in the singing department for Sonu ji (Sonu Nigam ji). There are many many good singers but no one can ever replace him. I personally want to thank you for giving him the Main Agar Kahoon song. After soo soo soo many days I could hear his exceptional voice in such a romantic song.
Finally, I wanna wish you a very very Best of Luck for Om Shanti Om. May god make it the best film of this decade (I won't say best film of your career because practically, it is impossible for any film to surpass DDLJ's records now).
I'm excited, happy because OSO is just 2 weeks away now. But I am sad because OSO is just 2 weeks away now. Yeah... because I read that you are unemployed for next 8 months and so that means that I'll have to wait for long long time to see you again after OSO. I beg you to do some ADs, may be do some The Incredibles type of projects... but please be in touch... FOREVER!!!

What a Shame? They are riding and enjoying there lives on money earned by our parents or by ourselves.
Although, they create the enjoyment.
Think this way, they are driving BMWs and how much money you have wasted on buying movie tickets and not watching them... I am sure you might be able to buy atleast a decent car if you have not wasted the money.. All actors are same..
Again, what a shame ... people wasting money for nothing...

Exactly! you echoed our feelings aout SRK and I feel the same. Whoever thinks you are crazy and wasting your time and money, they are fools and we don't have to listen to them. Even though I tried my best to watch other actor's movies, somehow just after 30mins or so, I feel that I am missing something and give up watching THEIR movies. Very good writing. Congratulations.
Wow... so many comments. First of all I wanna thank each and everyone who has written some cooment for this blog. Now I am writing this blog because obviously some questions have been raised thru some of the comments. I feel that it's my responsibility to answer such question. hence,, this comment.
For all those who've criticised, I have the following things to say:-
1. Those who dont have courage to show their name, shall not criticize others.
2. I agree with some of them. they are just being practical and nothing else. But they've misunderstood me. I'd already mentioned in the blog that I'm not a daft follower. I am just a fan. I like his work and I dont say that every film of SRK is super hit and good. I did criticize PBDHH. But I like most of his films and so I see them as I like his acting style. So I make sure that I see the film in theatre and in case if I'm not able to see that in thatre, I just a buy ticket of his film and see the film on CD(Pirated) later on. By doing this, I dont think that I'm causing any harm to anyone related to that particular film.
3. I never said that I spend all my money on his films. i dont even buy a platinum class ticket when i know that I wont be watching this film. So, those who say that I'm wasting money foolishly, I wanna ask them, why do you visit sites like IndiaFM? Do they pay you for their visit or your internet conection is free?I guess NO. But you visit to have fun. That's what I do.
I do agree that blindly following a person and spending what you have for HIM is wrong and fatuous in a sense. But then if you are just enthusiastic(not obsessed) about something and this enthusiasm is not causing any harm to anyone but instead it's helping others, then I dont feel it is wrong or foolish.

Very nice. I have always thought of SRK as someone so close (no not like a boy friend or a lover but someone I know very well and I just want the best for him). He is so unique, lovely and ambitious. I remember I had watched his interview when I was just a kid many years ago and he had said that" I want to do my best in whatever I do even when I brush my teeth." His this sentence has been with me all this time and unconsiously it has helped me do my best in writing my reports at school etc.
I watched OSO on Friday Nov,9th and loved it. It is a huge and excellent film and SRK is at his best. I was so happy to see him; he truely is the king who rules our hearts. I can't wait for my exam to be over to watch it again.
Great way of expressing the thoughts and feelings of millions (if not billions) of SRK fans in India and worldwide.
We all feel the same dude! I feel like these movies are my home production too, and pray for their success.
